I’ve been seeing people say that they wished more Black/African Americans knew about the Spirits, Deities, and folklore figures of our pantheon, so I complied a list from my research. Most people don’t know we have them or don’t recognize them due to accessibility of knowledge.
People are offended because they think I'm talking about the eveyday outcast and not the anti-social cyberbullies who think the insults and apathy they share is justified because they don't like their situation in life. As if they're not full of sins and flaws.
Many of you think that because you're unattractive, lack romantic options and sex, or struggle with social anxiety that you're a good person. Morally superior than those who are the opposite. But powerlessness isn't a virture. Your existence isn't inherently improving this world.

i didnt have any real opportunity to learn until around 25 and while i did get my license by that point i was like "oh this shit is the real deal. i hate it"
Learning how to drive is one of those things you’re really better off doing when you’re a teenager and your brain isn’t fully developed and you’re a little more fearless bc if I had to learn as a grown ass adult I’d be petrified.
