@carolin52872889 @HM_Passport I've been calling everyday for weeks and the guy I spoke to this morning told me! If they'd told be before I would have recalled my old one to fast track it

@carolin52872889 @HM_Passport If you're lucky a week or two. If you're unlucky 10 weeks! It depends on how many passports need processing and which system your passports passed through. Old system 10 weeks, new system 1 - 2 weeks!! Unfair as we all pay the same fee and need our passports.

@Its_DanielleT @eugenehood @HM_Passport It's a totally unfair system. We all have a need for a passport and pay the same rate. We should be treated equally!

@eugenehood @HM_Passport Apparently the new system processes passports quickly. If the demand is high passports go to 10 week system. That's what I was told this morning

@MarkNewsham78 @HM_Passport I've just been informed by the passport office that they're operating from an old and a new system. If you're lucky your passport will be processed using the new 'quick' system but sadly mine is being processed using the old 10 week
system!!! This seems very unfair.
