The "Webflow is dying" debate keeps coming up and I keep seeing the same mistake.

People confuse "this tool has a learning curve" with "this tool is failing."

Claude Code is faster to start. Webflow is faster to maintain. Those are different values for different clients. Recently we have been migrating Clients with Claude Code websites into Webflow because they felt there is no control - on design, on structure, and nuances of managing it seamlessly.

Webflow has grown ± 66% YoY growth and has close to 500K live sites.

That's not an exodus. That's a growing base with a loud minority making noise on LinkedIn and X.

Webflow is a technology built specifically for crafting websites, while Replit and Claude Code can also build websites.

Agentic web is coming and Webflow knows it. 12 years of no-code infrastructure + agentic layer is a different animal than a blank Replit project. I've built websites on Replit and Claude Code (including two of my side projects built and launched as a production grade softwares with it's own landing pages). But if Webflow could have that power, i would anyday shift.

Both ecosystems can exist. Stop writing the eulogy.
