@4golfonline 74. Introduced the most complex and ‘not fit for purpose” handicap system that allows golfers to choose their handicap by deciding what rounds they include. And then, if you’re a good low golfer, exclude you from elite amateur comps if you have more than 2 or 3 supplementarys
@thwacknicklaus Don’t be ridiculous. In Europe, we play preferred lies on cut grass for 6 or 7 months of the year. You hit the fairway, you can move it 6”. We play comps, medals, foursome and stablefords. All qualifying. Get over your sad selves!
@Keir_Starmer The Open championship, F1, every football league in England, test cricket: Your sentiment could also apply to all of these, but just like our energy and water, they’ve been sold off, and we pay the price!
@jamesmoores_ That’s the difference between Germans, and the English. We have a sense of humour. If you don’t laugh at this, you may have German ancestors 😂
I had little idea of the numbers of children that survived and severity of their injuries. How do we not know? It’s a shocking read, on top of the horror we are already aware of. Those brave families! #southport https://t.co/NjfOlLO8YG
@flushingitgolf Tighter fairways. Links-style bunkers that actually penalise, instead of helping. More natural areas, instead of overly manicuring 100% of the estate. It’s a golf course, not a garden centre! Play golf on the course, or expect issues off it.
@RayMairead 100% legal behaviour. Yeah it’s a bit annoying; so what? So are horses, milk floats, pedestrians where there’s no pavements, and wide loads. All slow. All legal.
@TaraBull Start paying your staff a wage they can live on, then we wouldn’t need to tip. Staff would be better off, by having a confirmed salary rise. We would be better off, for not wondering how much to tip. Everyone wins.
@MyGolfSpy The USA have ruined golf. It’s a frat house party. It’s not like this anywhere else in the world. You are alone with this problem. You wanted it: You got it.
