@LucasAtLarge It seems like the NBA told him you don’t shoot it well enough to be a 2 at next level, Boyd was better w/ball in his hands as opposed to JB and he didn’t like that. Also, just say you’re going to get $4-5MM from Duke, that’s all it’s about in college environment now.

@barryisthedon Anger isn’t at Gard, it’s the state of the game. Can’t fault kids for getting $2-3MM. Gard needs ton of recognition for how’s he’s handled portal last 3 years. If our NIL budget only $7-8MM and more than half the B10 is $10-12MM…problem is money NOT coaching

Definitely understand landscape in college bb different now but to teach kids that loyalty means nothing, really sad. Love that Karaban at UCONN exemplifies commitment. Yes, he’s being paid too but just great to see he’s stayed.
