Been about 20m so far. I almost want to see either how long, or how many button pushes this might take. At least 2 other employees have said they called and someone is on their way…
"You can never overpay a great player," said Lombardi. "But if you overpay a good player, you’re in trouble. That’s the difference.
This was quoted in an article about the Patriots, but rings true in other domains too
@kfranasz Different IP in auction vs. rendering is common in OOH as well - mostly for the reasons you listed (creative preparation and pre-caching is common since Publishers pay bandwidth costs and have limited capability devices)
@SingaporeAir trying to make a booking, but website has repeatedly returned "We cannot process your request right now." and have been on hold for almost an hour
@OptimumHelp I've been trying for weeks to reach someone to sign up for Fiber internet (in response to many mailers sent to my house). How can I sign up?
Even worse - amazed that I have been bounced around customer service departments who randomly redirect me va either trying to fix it or telling me that cannot
Stuck at Reno/Tahoe Airport because @Hertz seems to have lost the flight info for my reservation, so closed the office before the (delayed) flight got in. Amazed and irate that there is apparently no way this is handled other than ‘wait until they open’
I just gave 4 stars to Brisa at @AugustHomeInc for great service! I wish more companies had this level of transparency in who they were talking to #customerservice#progressive
@united is there anything you can do? I am now 1.5h into trying to find someone to help with his, and on my 4th person who I am afraid is about to send me back to the 1st person I talked to
So @united - I am trying to follow the instructions I was given on my last trip to claim because my bags were unloaded and sent on a followup plane, but the website doesn’t recognize my MileagePlus number, and there’s a 30m wait on the phone…
Now at 1h and 3 different people (customer service, web support, a supervisor, now waiting for baggage) at @united later. I suppose the irony of this is - I started doing all this to claim a credit that was offered to book another United flight...
How does @united Customer Care not have a phone number, or any way to get in touch with them other than an email or voicemail with “a response back in 7-10 business days?!?!” I think that policy says as much about their customer service as one can ask for
@kimgoodwin I forget the source, but I remember reading a note about “people don’t mind change, but they hate *being changed*” - e.g. that we as people react very differently to be being the object of change out of our control, vs. part of change towards a common goal.
