Tuesday Q&A (10/6/26). Joined by Rep. Joel McEntire. We're at the Longview Police Department satellite office in the Highlands neighborhood (that we were able to support a few years ago as a WA State Capital Budget project) on a beautiful fall afternoon.
1) I saw that State AG Nick Brown was arguing with you about a court ruling in favor of election integrity. His point was that he wasn't involved in the case. Well, he should be! Why are they so against election integrity?
2) So, the Seattle D[emocrat] politicians are just saying it now: They're going to lower the state income tax to everyone. Does this give you the chance to repeal it?
3) I know you are focused on childcare fraud, but can you please repeal [HB] 1227 [the "Keeping Families Together Act"] for us CPS workers? Restricted removals are literally causing fatalties.
4) Do you want to propose something about the vehicle valuation tool the state uses? Again? They still value my 2011 Ford Ranger at $20,000. KBB [Blue book value] is $11K to $13K. Thieves in that RTA office!
5) The WA State Supreme Court overturned the people's vote to continue using natural gas. Questions: One, when does this go into effect? Two, will this be challeneged? Installing a new electrical panel will cost $20K to $30K, just for a house.
6) What's going on with Pete Serrano? Are the judges trying to get rid of him? What can you do to help him?
7) Is it true that Washington hospitals sell our DNA to the state without our knowledge or consent?

Victor Davis Hanson: Tucker Carlson Is Rewriting the History of World War II

Tucker Carlson’s interview with Jacob Rees-Mogg turned into a clash over World War II history, Britain’s decision to fight Hitler, and whether Britain could have stayed out of the war. Rees-Mogg pushed back with historical facts, arguing that Britain had already seen Hitler break his promises, invade Poland, and expand Nazi control across Europe.

The argument is that Britain had no choice but to stand against Hitler and that rewriting the history of the war ignores why Britain ultimately fought.
