Harold was rescued from euthanasia in a British council pound.
Harold is a dinky little terrier who’s only around 5 years old. Sadly, he was left on a site in a caravan when the people moved out. When he was picked up he was covered in fleas and ticks. It became obvious he has one eye missing and awfully docked tail!💔
Despite all this is he a little gentleman who hasn’t put a paw out of place since arriving. He did his seven days in the pound and came very close to being put to sleep as no one came for him. Thankfully we had a foster home free for him!
Harold has been a true gentlemen since arriving in our care. He has happily done everything we have asked of him. He is housetrained and sleeps through the night too.
This dinky lad is great with people and other dogs. Plus he’s good on lead too, he isn’t worried by traffic and travels well in the car!
At the vets he was a super star and allowed a full examination to take place, he is more than happy to be handled. He has passed a health check, started his vaccinations, been flead and wormed.
He’s booked in to be microchipped, neutered and at the same time they going to clean out the eye socket where his eye is missing and get that better for him. Thankfully not a big job and he copes perfectly well with one eye.
Harold is a quiet lad who loves the garden and all the sniffs. He is going to be someone’s best friend.
We feel he could live with or without another neutered dog, he could live with dog savvy children or in active retired home environment. As long as he is loved and gets his walks, he’s a happy lad.

The dog discussed in the video below, is now safe at our sanctuary.

She was run over by a safari driver in Yala National park. The lack of empathy & compassion shocked the tourists who insisted the dog was helped.

How many innocent animals are mown down & left to die without any remorse or concern? This callous indifference does not go unnoticed, as in this case.

We have named her Nova. She sustained a broken pelvis & would have died if not helped, she also has tick fever.

We are at breaking point at the sanctuary, but will do our very best for Nova.

Please help towards her recovery & rehabilitation 🙏
