Couldn’t have asked for a better launch for Globalized State-led Development at @KelloggInst. Huge thanks to Ben Ross Schneider and Dan Slater for a probing, generous conversation about the book chaired by the great Scott Mainwaring @SlaterPolitics

Globalized State-led Development is out @CUP_PoliSci @RBlaifeder! I revisit the developmental state for an era of global capital and democracy, asking why governments support the global investments of national firms. Brazil is at the center, comparative engagement with China.
