@RepSwalwell Such a jackass. Imagine being so unqualified that all you can do to be relevant is jump into stupid controversies like this. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so dangerous.
I want to know what trades were made by members of the Trump Administration before these unhinged tariff moves?
Who, if anyone, shorted stocks before the tariffs were first announced? Who bought back into the market before this pause was announced? Who is profiting from this?
Wow. I’m not sure enough people are talking about how badly Marjorie Taylor Greene was humiliated by a Holocaust and Ukraine expert today. He dismantled every one of her pro-Putin lies.
Is Marjorie Taylor Greene really that fucking stupid?
@atrupar Trump’s pardons are his right and doesn’t require any need for investigation. However, we will be looking into the Biden pardons by calling the recipients in for questioning. This is the party complaining about the weaponization of the Justice Department? https://t.co/I3WHx966SR
LOL! Is like a bad joke that never ends. Here’s a rundown of what President Sheinbaum reportedly actually said that makes Trump’s claim sound like a bad joke:
Migration Already Decreasing: She pointed out that border crossings were already down 75% from late 2023 to late 2024. No magic deal with Trump needed, just facts.
Tariff Threat Backfire: She warned him that his beloved 25% tariffs would hurt both economies, not just Mexico’s. “Mutual understanding” was her call, not bending to his demands.
U.S. Drug Problem: She laid the blame for the drug crisis right where it belongs: U.S. consumption. “Maybe fix your own backyard first,” was the subtext.
Weapon Flow into Mexico: She threw the U.S. gun pipeline into the mix, pointing out how those weapons fuel violence south of the border. Bet Trump didn’t tweet about that one.
No Blanket Migration Promise: She didn’t agree to “stop migration” as he claimed. Instead, she talked about how Mexico was handling migrant caravans within its own borders, a far cry from giving Trump his wish list.
Call for Dialogue: She pushed for mutual respect and understanding, basically, diplomacy 101. Not exactly the subservient “yes, sir” he wanted.
In short, she gave him a polite reality check, and Trump spun it into a victory lap. Classic.
Quote from Hegseth’s book about how the left “didn’t fight the wars,” are American extremists, and apparently cuckolded the right wing military members.
In 2019, Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth said that he never washes his hands and can’t remember washing them once in the past 10 years: “Germs are not a real thing. I can’t see them.”
“President Biden bet everything on the innate goodness of the American people. We should learn from his mistake.”
