Therefore, at this time, if you are thinking of speaking to the executive branch pursuant to this directive, I strongly recommend that, in addition to an attorney, you request that either I or another member of Congress be present with you."

Wise and shrewd words by Representative Burlison. The waiving of NDAs (and hopefully specific, conditional amnesty provisions) presents an unprecedented opportunity for a litany of individuals with firsthand experience in UFO Legacy Programs or firsthand experience in general relating to the topic of UFOs to deliver testimony regardless of signed non-disclosure agreements.

From 2017 to 2023, the Senate (Rubio, I'm looking at you) failed to act on several years' worth of actionable intelligence gathered from SSCI. From 2022 to the present, AARO has effectively operated as a honeypot for whistleblower testimony, even lying about witness statements in AARO Historical Report Volume 1, all while Sean Kirkpatrick continues to display brazen immaturity and emotional lashouts regarding whistleblowers, specifically David Grusch.

Due to this, plus some prospective whistleblowers having pensions threatened, administrative terrorism leveraged, or threats made if they give testimony on UFO-related matters covered by NDAs, I wager this opportunity comes with quite a bit of trepidation and low trust for prospective witnesses....

Representative Burlison has demonstrated for years he is committed to investigating the topic, continuously championing legislation, sending extremely thorough interrogatives, conducting on-site visits, and of course, most importantly, hiring David Grusch.

Grusch and Burlison's office are EXTREMELY respected and trusted. I think it is fair to say prospective witnesses would be SIGNIFICANTLY more comfortable delivering testimony if they know Rep. Burlison has their back and is physically present in the SCIF.

Of course, it should be a foregone conclusion that David Grusch also attends these sessions! One, because there is no better man alive who can navigate this ecosystem, and two, because Mr. Grusch commands tremendous trust and respect from prospective whistleblowers/witnesses... I struggle to see a world in which testimony can be inappropriately or incorrectly handled with Grusch present.
