Elon Musk's X-linked LLC bought an entire power plant for just $10 to fuel Grok AI! 🤯

This isn't just about cheap energy; it's a strategic move for energy independence for AI, bypassing years of procedures. The plant, located in South Haven, Mississippi, was acquired for a symbolic $10. Musk plans for a 2 GW capacity for his future data centers housing 1 million Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, equivalent to nearly 2 million US homes!

However, there's a significant environmental cost. Colossus is powered by 35 methane generators with no environmental authorization. Local residents complain of toxic fumes, and this move is seen as a major contradiction for Musk, who portrays himself as green with Tesla. This could cost him politically and mediatically.
