They didn’t endure because it was easy. They stayed because it was true. Their faith is of the thousands of reasons I will never walk away.

Did you know this factoid: Latter-day Saints are 2% of America. But they keep finishing FIRST in a LOT of stats:
- 69% at church every week (everyone else: 25%)
- 73% pray daily
- 72% volunteered last year — the only U.S. faith above 50%
- 89% pay a full 10% tithe
The same group a UCLA study found lives nearly a decade longer.
Smallest faith on the chart. First, on almost everything, you can't fake.
What do they know that the rest of us don't? :)
So in 1829, a 23-year-old farmboy dictates the Book of Mormon in about 65 days — no notes, no rewrites.
In 1980, statisticians ran it through a computer. Not the doctrine — the tiny words every writer uses without thinking. a, of, the, and. The fingerprint you can't fake.
The verdict: two dozen DISTINCT authors inside the book. Odds of one author writing it all — under 1 in 100 billion.
How did Joseph Smieth fake two dozen fingerprints in 65 days? Unless....
Nice article here from @shre98 who is the Kansas basketball reporter for the Kansas City Star.
- The draft order is viewed favorably by Darryn Peterson’s camp
- Peterson has interviewed quite well with NBA teams

Tony Jones of the Athletic joined @espnthefan to discuss why the Jazz should not trade up to draft AJ Dybantsa:
Q: Some fans think Danny Ainge and Ryan Smith should sell the farm to go get AJ. You’ve covered the NBA a long time. What’s your take?
A: They absolutely should not trade up.
And I know that’s probably a hot take emotionally for some fans, but it doesn’t make basketball sense.
The two best players in this draft are AJ Dybantsa and Darren Peterson. In my opinion, they are the same tier of player. They’re different stylistically, but they’re both All-NBA caliber talents with Hall of Fame upside if everything breaks right.
If you’re picking third or fourth, then sure, trading up makes sense. But if you’re already at No. 2 and there are two obvious elite prospects, why would you give up assets?
If you’re Utah, you simply let Washington make the pick and then you take the other guy.
Q: Most mock drafts have AJ going No. 1. If that happens, how does Darryn Peterson fit with this Jazz roster? You know this team well.
And I assume Darryn starts immediately while Ace Bailey probably comes off the bench?
A: Yeah, both Darryn and Keyonte George probably start together in the backcourt, while Ace Bailey likely comes off the bench initially.
Honestly, Darryn might fit Utah’s offense a little better than AJ.
Now AJ is incredible, but he’s much more ball-dominant. Darren can absolutely handle the ball and go get you a bucket or create an advantage, but the beauty of Darryn Peterson is that he can also play off the ball.
Will Hardy’s offense emphasizes movement, spacing, shooting, and driving lanes. I actually think Utah is one of the best possible fits in the lottery for Darryn Peterson specifically.
Now with AJ, he instantly becomes one of the most popular Jazz players ever because of the Utah Prep-to-BYU-to-Jazz storyline.
And what AJ gives you is another jumbo creator. He gives you size, athleticism, shot creation, and physicality. That kind of lineup would be extremely difficult to deal with in the regular season.

Watching Bruce Branch III the last few days at USAB, it's clear he's already made some strides in a month while on campus at BYU. He's finishing through contact and cutting off the ball extremely well. Add that to his positional size and he's a dream scenario next to Rob Wright.
We have a real shot at bringing @MLB to the Beehive State.
Utah has the momentum, the vision, and leaders like the Miller family helping rally support behind a team Utah can call its own.

"As long as Dybantsa or Peterson is there at No. 2, there is no wrong answer. The only mistake Utah can make is overthinking it."

On June 23rd, no front office in the NBA will have an easier job than the Utah Jazz. 🙏
Shoutout to Tony, I will have two Diet Cokes in honor of these two great prospects! 😉

Ace hit the hardwood and took his game to new levels all season long. From Rising Star to the All-Rookie team, the future is bright 💜
#TakeNote | @AiriousB
The leverage they have is that the #2 pick in this draft may be a 10X All-Star. Meaning they don't NEED to trade up as much as you think they do.
If the Wiz's price is MORE THAN ANY OTHER 1-SPOT MOVE-UP EVER, Utah will calmly say "we good" & draft a potential franchise guy at #2
It’s one thing to rank a player’s talent in a vacuum. It’s another to consider a prospect’s FIT on a team.
@DraftDeeper evaluates Darryn Peterson's game and why he makes the most sense for the Utah Jazz out of the top prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft.
