@NivLobo Really interesting thought Niv. I read the passage after seeing your Tweet & had a couple of thoughts- 1 was I wonder if the Holy Spirit is there. V20 says ‘...and the Lord worked with them...’ I was reminded of 2 Cor 3:17-18 where the Holy Spirit is described as the Lord.
We are not tools in God's tool box waiting for the right moment to be used. He is our Father and we are His children. His supreme desire is to know us. The more we accept the reality of God as a good good Father, the more we will stop hustling for what already belongs to us.
@Oliver_A_Packer That’s cool mate. Honestly I don’t know lots but two big things are the difference in policy towards abortion and religious freedom. I think they are two very key things.
Just been reflecting on the tweet I retweeted not long ago, which I still agree with. But, the other side to it is, I don’t believe Jesus’ church should be able to be told when she can and can’t be open.
Really good and true. The church has another great opportunity to be creative about how Jesus is proclaimed and demonstrated. Let’s seek the Father’s heart and the guidance and equipping of the Holy Spirit.
Whilst the church expends energy into arguing to keep the buildings open, the vast majority of the population (who don’t go to church) wonder why we the church should stay open as their businesses close. Pour energy into innovating how we communicate gospel hope and then do so.
We’re living in such challenging times. People are responding in all sorts of ways but we believe our first response should be to fall to our knees & pray. That’s why we @EAUKnews are calling a UK day of prayer on Friday November 13th. Please join in & share widely
Our daytime Alpha course kicks off on Thursday 1st October 12noon at the Spire Centre (following government guidelines)

We have just got home from an amazing evening at @TruffleLodge ! Lovely night of rest and relaxatation which is just what we needed. Pam and the team are wonderful!
Powerful powerful talk by Nicola Neal on Psalm 23! She just said about the church and followers of Jesus “how can we be light if we are afraid of the darkness”! This is a talk that needs to be listened to! #UnitedBreaksOut
