I sincerely think and hope you look at your drivers deal with disability and people who may need a little extra time but I don’t have confidence that will happen as from the top down you don’t care

Was on another bus last Wednesday this time Arriva & the driver showed zero compassion, or common sense, bully attitude didn’t want to let me on despite saying I was renewing my lost pass, and can clearly see I’m in a wheelchair with CP @arrivanorthwest @AndyBurnhamGM

@arrivanorthwest @AndyBurnhamGM He did offer eventually for me to pay by cash but was aggressive from the outset long before he got to that point and insulting to me saying to my mum has he got money? Will he pay ? I have cerebral palsy and well aware of my faculties, he could see my chair & there was no need

@arrivanorthwest @AndyBurnhamGM @GranadaReports Thank you it’s a shame that you’re initial response showed nothing of empathy or apology whilst i understand I’d lost the pass what he did on that day was clear discrimination, supervisors on Wigan bus st will testify the same should not be dealing with the public that driver

Disgusting attitude from Arriva driver last week again and it’s a regular occurrence on stagecoach too, the response from Arriva is lacklustre and unsympathetic. Amazing in today’s times disability treated like rubbish still

Only a week to go, and Christmas comes earlier than the adverts for me.

6-8PM Free event at the Museum of Wigan Life on 22nd November, guest poets reading and then myself sharing poems from my new book. There'll be refreshments and nibbles too

Gonna be at this today a little festival of poetry and other activities in Spinner’s Mill Leigh. Writing a lot for this new book not performed for awhile outside of Wigan so it’ll be exciting. Starts 11am-7pm A new poem & maybe an old poem I’d talk all night if they let me 😄
