@blogBRHP Also from the submission system I conclude, that in the 2-stage selection process it is possible to change speakers. Even a non-committal promise to join my session would help a lot to promote the topic of science and wireless to the general public on a European level.
@blogBRHP The deadline for proposal submission is on July 7th. Would you be able to join as a speaker? Do you require further information? I would be happy to have a phone call with you in the next couple of days to share more information.
@blogBRHP You are the best expert I can think of to represent the current state of scientific research, the challenges and the related unclear evidence at an European level. Therefore, you are cordially invited as a panel speaker for my session at the ESOF.
@blogBRHP My aim is to create a transnational, interdisciplinary discussion with perspectives from scientists, medical doctors, industry, the general public, policy makers on the topic of SmartCities and health risks from non-ionising radiation as it will be employed with 5G.
@blogBRHP Dear Dariusz, my name is Dr. Judith Rommel, I hold a PhD in Chemistry and a masters in biology and mathematics. For the past 6 years I worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Chemistry in Cambridge, UK.
Hearing from @jbr_science about what she learned while on an @EPSRC Impact Acceleration Knowledge Transfer Fellowship. Always start with the company's business problem, not what you *think* the solution is!
@chjacob@Nabbelbabbel@FUBerlin @BettinaGKeller @AGTheoChem In my opinion if social media should be more active, then there needs to be an official budget and professional social media managers. The field can benefit from excellent online presence and publicity.
@chjacob@Nabbelbabbel@FUBerlin @BettinaGKeller @AGTheoChem Thanks Christoph. Some people have decided that social media presence is not important for computational and theoretical chemistry in D A CH. I stepped down from being admins of the groups long ago. Happy to share the names with you of the people from outside (part1)
@chjacob@Nabbelbabbel@FUBerlin @BettinaGKeller @AGTheoChem I wanted to close the groups but some people in the AGTC committee insisted that this is technology that might be important. And then more people joined and took over. The most permanent of them is Christian Mueck Lichtenfeld. He may only be admin for FB.
@chjacob@Nabbelbabbel@FUBerlin @BettinaGKeller @AGTheoChem German who took over. It's weird that 7 years later when the groups were founded I still am listed as admin on the AG Theochem homepage and as member of the Kaestner group. I have spent longer time in Cambrdige now then for my PhD in Germany. I wanted to close the (part 2)
@anjakrieger Already coming back is a challenge. The leadership academy by @germanscholars is an excellent and urgently required initiative. Most people tell me here to get out of the research system as soon as possible. Many issues that I observed over the past months. Happy to share more.
@p_schwerdtfeger In the UK very similar. Do you have any insight as to what causes these remunerations? Are they increasing while other university salaries fall?
