Franciszek Gajowniczek who was saved from starvation death by the sacrifice of Fr. Maximilian Kolbe survived. He was a soldier & a prisoner of #Auschwitz (no. 5659). Gajowniczek passed away in March of 1995 at the age of 94.

8 January 1894 | Fr. Maximilian Kolbe, OFM, was born in Zduńska Wola.

As a prisoner of #Auschwitz at the end of July 1941, he sacrificed his life to save a person selected for starvation death after an escape. On 14 August 1941, he was murdered with a phenol injection.

According to the CSO, cattle numbers (Republic of Ireland) in Dec 2020 were c. 6.5m head. Irish cattle numbers have fallen by 150,000 head, in the last three years. Cattle numbers in 1973 were 6.9 M or 400,000 higher. How much have car numbers increased by since 1973?
