I couldn’t sleep tonight. Conventional wisdom would suggest San Antonio wins tonight at home but bump that man. So close, just find a way. This is probably why I have hearing issues. Before the 30 for 30s and Wikipedia I’d get my Knicks lore from my grandfather, who insisted to me that the Knicks at one point in time had guts and pride, he swore. Even if this Eisley, Anderson, etc crew didn’t. The MSG Knicks intro at the time is probably why I became a lifelong fan of Jazz music. I was sad to see Mook Morris go mid season because at least he brought some excitement and attitude back in the garden. In retrospect, that 2021 team wasn’t all that, but we made the playoffs so Julius Randle was my hero. In Jalen Brunson I finally had hope that I’d see a title in my adult life. I’ve never watched a Knick team in real time this good, or this close. I don’t really know how I’d react if we got it, but I’d love for it to happen tonight. The betting odds say no, but when has that stopped this unit?
