If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!
Je ne sais même plus où donner de la tête avec toutes ces nouvelles fonctionnalités.
Il y a davantage eu d’évolutions de X en 4 ans sous Musk que depuis sa création 😭
All-in-one app soon.
𝕏 is building its own full-scale meeting platform with 𝕏 Calls...basically its own version of Google Meet and Zoom
You can start instant calls, create meetings for later with a link or code, or schedule them with titles, descriptions, invitees and calendar integration
The experience goes beyond simple video calls with group meetings, custom backgrounds, interactive whiteboards, live chat, reactions and more
𝕏 Calls also includes flexible access controls, letting hosts choose who can join.....everyone, verified organization members, or only approved participants
The biggest upgrade is that 𝕏 Calls runs on a new in-house backend instead of the older Periscope-based infrastructure
It’s currently being tested and could roll out publicly soon
X isn’t the new web.
It’s trying to become the app you don’t leave.
Those are not the same claim. Most takes collapse them.
Thread: what’s actually live, what’s still a pitch, and what the ranking code rewards if you want reach.
Practical bit, then a question.
Pick a niche before the feed picks one. Write to start a conversation. Answer people. Don’t bury the idea on tweet 7.
Full piece (sections, sources, the cautious version) is on my profile as an Article.
The real brake on X-as-everything-app — regulation, payments, or the culture?
Pick one. I’ll argue the other side.
One clarification so this doesn’t get straw-manned:
I’m not saying X has replaced the web. I’m saying it’s the only major Western consumer network currently shipping toward “stay here for news, chat, money, and a live model” at the same time.
WeChat already proved the shape. X is testing whether that shape works in an open internet with regulators and a loud timeline.
If you think that’s already lost, tell me which brick fails first: Money, Chat, Grok, or trust.
