Do we know it’s because the Nationals couldn’t get the contract insured or that they were unwilling? Insuring the contract should be baked into the cost of any investment that large.

@lucasborjaNPB It’d be awesome if MLB teams had a dedicated “countryside” alternate ballpark. White Sox with Field of Dreams, Yankees at Cooperstown, Miami in Puerto Rico, etc. Each team scheduled 1-2 series at the countryside ballpark each season.
