🚨Warnings Ignored: Roommate Complaints Preceded Fatal UCCS Dorm Shooting

Nicholas Jordan, 25, was sentenced in April 2025 to two consecutive life terms without parole plus 364 days for the Feb. 16, 2024, first-degree murders of his University of Colorado Colorado Springs roommate, music student Samuel Knopp, 24, of Parker, and visitor Celie Rain Montgomery, 26, of Pueblo. The two were shot inside their Crestone House dorm room in Alpine Village; prosecutors said they were attacked while in bed. Knopp had filed multiple complaints with UCCS housing and campus police about Jordan’s smoking, unclean living conditions, and behavior. In January 2024 a trash dispute ended with Jordan threatening to kill Knopp—the basis of a later menacing conviction. Both students asked to be moved or withdrawn in the weeks and hours before the shooting. University staff documented the complaints; nothing stopped the killings. A jury rejected Jordan’s self-defense claim after a five-day trial. Montgomery’s mother later sued the university, alleging it disregarded known risks.

“Screen earlier”. Collect more data. Expand the definition of risk. Who’s defining it? Who cares. None of your business, crazy lady. Connect more institutions. Call it interoperability. Build specialized pathways. Then develop increasingly automated ways of identifying who falls into those pathways.

There are so many grotesque examples like Bill Maher: people who don't just champion free speech and rail against cancel culture but build their careers on that branding -- UNTIL:

It all comes to a grinding halt when it comes to speech about their group: "oh, you can't say that: it's inciting violence against us" (the standard argument always used to censor speech or for "cancel culture" in every case).

Bari Weiss is of course the Queen of this self-absorbed dynamic. Ben Shapiro, too. But Bill Maher is probably the most blatant illustration of this fraud because few have exploited and profiteered from these free speech and anti-cancel-culture values more than he, only to instantly turn into the ADL and start policing and trying to suppress speech when he thinks it endangers his group:

We hope that hearing these personal stories firsthand gave those who attended a deeper perspective on what vaccine-injured Canadians are facing.

Thank you to the Members of Parliament who took the time to attend and listen.

This must be the beginning of a change in how our elected officials understand, represent, and advocate for the Canadians who trusted them and are now living with the consequences.

The testimony has been heard. Now, we hope, the advocacy begins.

A Call to Confront What Happened

A powerful column by Irvin Studin in the Toronto Sun reflects on the Allison Inquiry and the need for Canada to honestly confront the consequences of the policies and decisions made during the COVID-19 response.

As Studin writes:

“A great country with honest leaders cannot move on from such grave errors of policy and administration. And as ours is a great country, let us face our great folly with great frankness.”

The testimonies heard at the Allison Inquiry are now part of the public record. The question is what Canada will do with what has been heard.

On September 16, the Canadian Television Network, commonly known as CTV, ran a hit piece on the Allison Inquiry that was pure propaganda. Should CTV be criminally investigated?

The Allison Inquiry held four days of hearings in Ottawa last week. It was compelling and life changing to hear witnesses injured by the Covid-19 vaccines share their stories. You cannot watch the testimonies and not be changed. If you have not watched, you need to.

The CTV hit piece on the Allison Inquiry had a single person give a strong negative opinion. She claimed to have applied to be a witness at the Inquiry. She then gave a strong negative opinion, including:

“She now feels it [the Inquiry] is more of a political stunt...
'I felt disgusted and betrayed. I was duped.'”

This personal opinion on national news sends the strong propaganda message to the viewer that the Allison Inquiry is shameless political theatre.
