@fakeblake9 I’m in similar situation. Our 4 bedroom townhouse wasn’t built in 91 but was assessed as G when new in 99 as it was £219k . It’s now worth £600k we’ve tried challenging the banding as houses built since are in lower bands but no use.

I’ve seen posts about Band G council tax houses having an average value now of between £750k and £1.5 million . Many homes in G are well below those values simply because the previous system is so flawed . Need proper reform reviewing all bands #nomansiontax

@colinwalker79 @New_AutoMotive I don’t want to buy an EV & no one in my family does either / net zero craze needs a rethink. I have a good petrol car and will replace it with another one probably second hand when the time comes . Suspect I’m not a lot different to the average person.
