@Matt_Fortuna@NDFootball@BadgerFootball Hello Matt,
Who is the away team? And why are they not playing with white jerseys?
Isn’t the away team required to play with white jerseys?
I personally would love to see teams playing with their base jerseys more often as long as the colors are not similar.
@jonathanstoop This is a scientific way to deal with the issue. Every measurement has an inherent error. I’ve seen elsewhere the uncertainty is about 6 inches. Make it something like that. After that the certainty of offside is a lot higher.
They also need a dedicated offside cámara
@andrew_wiebe Your assumption is incorrect.
Some contact is allowed as long as it’s seeking the ball. There is some really hard contact on slide tackles. If the contact is not seeking the ball, it’s an automatic foul. Hard contact with studs will result in a red card.
@SamENole@cpscott16 The US player was driving his leg into the defender in a different direction from the ball. If there is contact while not seeking the ball then it’s a red card.
@SamENole Unfortunately intent is not part of the criteria. If there was strong contact from the player while not seeking the ball (note how the ball is bouncing in a different direction) then there’re grounds for a red card.
@AnnieAgar Event it if wasn’t intentional. Intent is not part of the criteria.
Just like a targeting call. Intent can’t be determined by a ref, only the extent of the contact.
@AnnieAgar Yes. It’s intentional contact without seeking the ball. The ball was going on a different direction when he was stepping on the other’s guy ancle. By the letter of the law it’s a red card.
@JordanUhl 1- intent does not matter. There was contact not seeking the ball. It was the correct call.
2- if another player get away with a foul is not a valid argument.
