Anti-Israel activist Randa Abdel-Fattah kept the image of a Palestinian paratrooper as her Facebook cover photo for at least five months after Hamas terrorists’ murder, rape and kidnapping of 1200 Israelis had become apparent. She told the ABC this week she 'had no idea about the death toll' when choosing the image of a parachute in the colours of the Palestinian flag as her cover image. France 🇫🇷 and Britain 🇬🇧 launched a joint strike on ISIS targets in Syria two days ago.
No media outlet asked ISIS how many were killed. No politicians condemned the strikes as a violation of international law or accused France and Britain of being invaders. The Free Palestine crowd didn’t care. Not a single student protested. No crowds took to the streets. When the strikes were mentioned at all, people were at worst indifferent, and at best openly glad that ISIS is now a smaller threat than it was two days ago.
Now compare this reaction to what happens when Israel strikes Hezbollah targets in Syria.
Hypocrisy at its finest.
Jews are being murdered again - not by accident, not by misunderstanding, but because antisemitism is being tolerated, excused and indulged across the West.
Kfar Aza, the closest Israeli town to Gaza Strip, hired Gazan instruction workers to build a building (on the left) to house its archives. On October 7, when Hamas terrorists raided Israel, seven Kfar Azan men hurried to the armory (building with open red door) where the town kept defensive arms. But Hamas fighters, who likely were the construction workers, knew where the armory was and hid around it, shooting dead the seven unarmed Israelis in front of the armory.
This story illustrates how the Hamas October 7 massacre of 1,200 Israelis also killed whatever trust had remained between Israelis and the Palestinians until that date. The trauma prompted the Israeli to never allow Palestinians to work in Israel, with jobs going to Arab-Israeli and Asian workers instead, even if such arrangement caused a labor shortage and a surge in prices of renovation and construction across Israel.
Thanks to the friend who shared the pic and story. NYT, Amnesty, HRW and Albanese do not reflect reality in Israel, only serve as amplifiers of Islamist Qatar antisemitism.
A leaked BBC memo told staff that “the argument over how much aid has crossed into Gaza is irrelevant” and instructed them to blame Israel—regardless of the facts.
The BBC doesn’t conduct journalism, they conduct propaganda.
To recap the past week:
Hamas films themselves executing over 100 Palestinians.
The media is silent.
Hamas launches RPGs at Israeli troops, murdering two.
The media is silent.
Israel responds by striking a Hamas commander.
The media says Israel violated the ceasefire.
So, just to be clear @UNLazzarini, the UN was screaming 'famine' and 'starvation' in Gaza, but yet @UNRWA was hoarding food all this time, instead of delivering it to the people of Gaza?
French journalist Jean Quatremer:
"Between 1948 and 1967, Jordan annexed the West Bank, and Gaza was part of Egypt. Arab countries didn’t want to establish a Palestinian state in that region. Now, they’re all so passionate about “Palestine”. Why’s that?"
Here's how media coverage fuels political pressure that helps Hamas. Heartbreaking headline. Sounds like she was flown to Italy because of starvation. Turns out she had leukemia, Israel had not only facilitated her evacuation — it had offered Italy to fly her out earlier.
Western society is currently divided between people who know this is a man and are prepared to say so and those who know this is a man but lie out of obedience to an ideology. There is no third option. Literally nobody on earth thinks "Roxanne Tickle" is actually a woman.
This is what a modern blood libel looks like:
A sick child. A hijacked photo. A lie that spreads faster than truth.
His name is Osama al-Raqab. He has cystic fibrosis, a serious genetic illness.
He’s been in Italy receiving treatment since June 12.
Israel enabled his medical transfer from Gaza.
But that didn’t stop media outlets from weaponizing his image NOT to tell his story, but in order to smear Israel.
Because when it comes to Israel, facts are optional.
Hate always finds a headline.
A photo of a starving child in Gaza on the cover of a newspaper in Italy 🇮🇹
Except that it wasn’t.
Osama Al-Rakab left Gaza for Italy for treatment for his cystic fibrosis.
His treatment was coordinated directly with the Italian Foreign Ministry.
This story should not be used to deny the reality of suffering in Gaza, which is real and devastating.
But it should remind you to question everything you read, especially when it blames Israel for Hamas’s weaponization of Gazans’ suffering.
BREAKING: 950 aid trucks are waiting inside Gaza, near the border, ready to be delivered to Palestinians.
Israel facilitated their entry, but the UN won’t pick them up.
It’s easier to tweet all day that Israel is “starving Gaza” than to actually help Palestinians.
