An Alachua County judge threw out Alachua Today’s lawsuit against Mainstreet, refusing to grant an emergency injunction to prevent publication.

The case presented a few rarities, according to a South Florida media attorney.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement raided Alachua Today and Boukari Law in July 2024 because of an investigation into former city manager Adam Boukari, according to a March memorandum from the Florida Office of the Inspector General.
