Have I missed discussion of this paper https://t.co/dAyDqPWbdH? "Daily average car journey time has increased by a striking 12.0 % ... controlling for hour, day, month, school and university term, bank holidays, major public events, roadworks, traffic accidents & weather"

We have Solicitors, barrister, and consultants appointed for the public inquiry due to be held this winter for the alternative route that provides greater transport benefits, is £100m cheaper and doesn’t trash our countryside! For more information visit https://t.co/IfYjYoG4Xu
@RedSpudd Thnx for this. Have used WT website a lot to learn about species but somehow missed their one-stop guide. Useful bedtime reading! It’s the exposure I struggle with most - 40mph winds are routine and compound the effects of temperature extremes. But I’m not giving up!
@RedSpudd Thnx! I’m in Cambs, v v exposed site, former arable land. Also finding that Hornbeam is particularly resilient, as is hawthorn and malus. Birch struggling with hot dry winds.
@RedSpudd As someone who’s planted a lot of trees recently and plans to plant more, I’d be v keen to know which species are currently proving more drought resistant. Thnx.
@MagogDown Can you post this on Great Shelford and Stapleford Community FB page as well pls (multiple times before the 7th)? Residents will trust and respond to your advice. Thnx.
@Sam_in_Cam Well, that's marketing for you. I guess 'The Cambridgeshire - floaters and cow urine. Inspired by Weil's disease from the contaminated River Cam' was never going to shift products.
@Browne_Anthony_ I think u can use the X-wing method on some of the potential 4s. I tried this but then I think eliminated the wrong one. And now I’m too tired to try again! Good luck!
@MagogDown Although, unless they’ve been removed since 9am this morning, there are still 2 big red ROAD CLOSED signs on Haverhill Rd! Glad we can again visit Magog Down more easily.
@Sam_in_Cam@SmarterCam Yet still they plough on and on and p*** away £ that could’ve been better invested in light rail. There’s more holes in the GCP’s busway plans than in my gardening clothes.
@Sam_in_Cam When it is over, because sadly one day it will be, you may look back and find that caring for that person was the privilege of a lifetime. Right now, it may feel anything but. I wish you strength.
