Although the lobster conversation on social media has grown legs, there is a larger conversation that should be had.
In the 1980s, 18% of the country were veterans. That number is now down to around 6%. Less and less Americans know someone who has served.
There is a disconnect between the American people and those who serve them. Until that gap is closed, there will be a lack of understanding around what service members and veterans go through.
Today it’s lobster, tomorrow it’s veteran’s benefits.
"wherever he goes, he wants to leave"-- that's because when he gets there, he has brought his own self along; & whatever club he's invited to join has been devalued by the invitation.
The commentary on @appletv is the worst thing I've ever listened to. Yes it's even worse than @creed. @mlb should be ashamed of this. #FridayNightBaseball
@ahouse4all AirBnB also kills the hotel hospitality industry. You know all those housekeepers, doormen and porters? Those are all union jobs. Fuck this guy.
@leankitjon@Robert_E_Kelly This might be the dumbest thing I've ever read. It shows zero knowledge of history, political philosophy and constitutional knowledge. Library cards are free, my man.
