@josemorgado Of course these Italians and their mafia games. Now they made Arnaldi withdraw so Cobolli can arrive fresh to the final. Nice try! #RolandGarros
@brendruskii Así es. Ese bailecito es quien ella es realmente. No la pose de víctima ni contestataria por la guerra que pone ante las cámaras para llamar la atención. Andreeva va a ganar el título. Ella lo vera desde su casa, como siempre.
“Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art”
@V_and_A
Maison Schiaparelli was founded in 1957 by Italian couturier Elsa Schiaparelli (1890 -1973) as a perfume company, but the fashion house was founded in Paris in 1927, with a style described as surrealist.
During the existence of Maison Schiaparelli, Elsa Schiaparelli collaborated with leading artists of the Surrealist movement such as Salvador Dalí, Leonor Fini, and Jean Cocteau. In 2007, Diego Della Valle, chairman of Tod's Group, purchased Elsa Schiaparelli SAS and associated Schiaparelli trademarks. Della Valle hired Christian Lacroix to create a singular couture collection for the house that debuted at Musée des Arts Décoratifs in 1 July 2013. Marco Zanini was then hired as creative director in 2014 and Bertrand Guyon appointed for the same role in 2015.
Schiaparelli was readmitted into the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in 2017, so the house was allowed to use the term haute-couture for its collections. The next year the house debuted its first prêt-à-porter collection. In April 2019, it was announced that Guyon would be succeeded by American designer Daniel Roseberry.
Daniel Roseberry ( b. 1985 in Plano, Texas) is a fashion couturier who had transformed the dormant brand into a modern couture house and upended red-carpet dressing.
Roseberry made history as the first American to lead a French couture house. He is credited with reviving the Maison Schiaparelli into a global pop-culture phenomenon through his boundary-pushing, anatomical surrealism and striking gold hardware —bridging the gap between historical Parisian craftsmanship and 21st-century pop culture.

Exactly. Bravo to #Andreeva! And I truly hope she wins. Not only because she's a tenacious, honest, and hardworking tennis player, but also because her victory would represent a welcome change after the politicization, prejudice, and, as we see in this photo, the unnecessary attacks and disrespect she's endured. It would be a breath of fresh air. #RolandGarros
@RamoFootball And I also think it would send an incredible message to an entire system that wouldn't display her national flag alongside her name because of political biases and narratives that have nothing to do with the sport.
In an ideal world, people would celebrate her return to the sport we all love, her improved health, and the positive message she sends to those struggling with their weight and whose lives are seriously affected, as well as the empowerment she inflicts on others. Instead, as we've seen since she was a teenager playing on those same courts, she's criticized, attacked, and her every move, decision, and action is questioned. Fortunately, it's often true that the more someone is criticized, the more successful they become. Go, Serena!
