Even though we are all virtual, our 8th grade language arts classes got to hear from local journalist @regger_tspr . They learned about the importance of writing and asked some really great questions. Thanks, Rich Egger, for visiting with us today! #wpmschat
@kyle_j_kranz Thanks for your reply. I live in Illinois, but this race is in my hometown in Iowa. I don’t need the race to motivate me, and Iowa scares me right now, so I think I’m going to pass this year. I usually place in my AG, so that’s why I gave it a second thought.
Question ... All the races have gone virtual, but a race I run every year in my home town has announced that they are going live this year. There will be waves, bottled water, and masked & gloved volunteers. Should I go? Would you go? #runchat
“As educators, we give so much of ourselves to other people’s children and to our communities that it’s easy to forget to nourish and reenergize ourselves.” @brewerhm
@jennasaurustech@brewerhm It’s super inspirational. I’m facilitating a study of this book with a school that is working on culture and climate. Super great read.
Every time I finish a chapter I think, “Wow! That was the best chapter” ... until I read the next chapter. I’m really enjoying this book. @brewerhm#Relentless
So, I did a thing today. I ran a marathon. It rained ... like heavy rain ... throughout, but I finished it. It was my first and probably my last. The box has been checked. @qcmarathon
@aolson_08 That’s been me through this training cycle. I can’t believe how much I eat every day. I ate 7 tacos the other night for dinner 😳 I’m looking forward to seeing you next weekend in the QC
@tsuejohnson @annebeninghof @emorland4 Thanks, Traci. I’ve got a group of teachers who need some hard data to be convinced. The principal is on board but there’s no buy in yet from the staff.
