I'm really curious why no one thought of this before. Everyone before Trump, must have been a complete idiot.

What do you need to start manufacturing in America?

1. You need factories big enough to supply the market

2. You need contractors who can build factories all over America in the shortest possible time.

3. You need machinery and equipment to equip those factories

4. It will take decades to make everything you need "Made in America"

5. Now you need tens of thousands of employees who are willing to work for $500

Just when you thought you were ready, now you don't have the raw materials needed for production

6. You started building plants and mines, which will provide you with a sufficient amount of raw materials

7. and for that you will need hundreds and thousands of contractors, to build your mines all over America and the world (if someone gives you a concession, or you invade them)

8. all you need is heavy machinery, machines and to deliver them to the mines

9. now you need tens of thousands of employees who will work in the mines for $500 a month

10. now you need raw material processing plants

11. you need tens of thousands of workers who will work in those plants for $500 a month

12. all you need is logistics, fleet of ships x10 to x20, which will transport all of that for you

13. no, there's more, now you need employees on ships who are willing to work for $500 a month

Even if everyone agrees to work for the above salaries, the price of your products will be several times more expensive than the competition, who will buy it?

An even better question is, who will invest in something they can't sell?

The difference is clean energy is a politically charged subject at the moment so it gets Trump's attention.
