@HannesPreishub Das ist etwas eine enge Auslegung. Vom Wort her gesehen, erstellt ein Compiler ein Kompilat, eine Zusammenstellung. Aus Sicht der Runtime ist EcmaScript der ausführbare Code (ähnlich wie die IL bei .NET oder Bytecode bei Java). Der Maschinencode entsteht erst zu Laufzeit (JIT).
