Anesthesiologist Dr. Lesley Bautista arrived at Carbonear General Hospital the morning of #nlstorm2020, getting snowed in until the next day. She had wonderful company in the OR & ICU nurses who happily shared their food/supplies during Dr. Bautista’s 86 (!!) total hours of call.

WHY DID I NOT PARK IN THE GARAGE? We generally don’t park in our garages here as weather conditions necessitate heavy salt use in winter, which sticks underneath your vehicle, falling off as the snow melts and corroding concrete floors, even sealed ones.
