@cyb3rops @shl It's about value. A few software engineers can produce products that touch hundreds of millions every day. A craftsman or mechanical engineer can't on average do that. There is an argument for A.I taking over, but comparing to other groups makes no sense.

@chintankamin Yes so this was GM's chance to shine in this regard and they blew it. Show us that you don't need a dealer to make a car without shoddy build quality and great customer service. At least Tesla has direct to consumer. The car still does look very nice though. I won't deny that.

@JediGamerCT Seriously. I don't know why they can't just sell directly to consumers or at least alongside the dealer since there are probably laws made by lobbyists to allow dealers to exist

@chintankamin I'm a little confused on how having a dealer in the middle of everything ensures a well made car. Do they not have the expertise to manage the salesm maintenance and upkeep like Tesla does? That would worry me a lot

As a @Delta platinum card member I'm very disappointed with the response to the voter suppression in georgia. It may be time to switch to a more welcoming airline. I think @JetBlue or @SouthwestAir would be a better fit

Reading about the basic security lapses with #JamCovid is very sad. I do recognize I am a part of the problem. Many of Jamaica's brightest have been lured away to first countries. It's a sad reality but the level of corruption is too high for intellectuals to flourish #Jamaica

@crysfel @jmalfatto When it comes to changing the requirements on an existing system they are priceless. Its like insurance, not much value if you are never in an accident. E2E are super expensive to maintain especially when you're testing details of an application.

Really loved the #NSBE45 conference. Great to see so many black engineers in 1 place. Sadly we all had to witness a guy being pulled over with guns drawn just outside the conference. Underscores just how far we have left to go as society. Luckily he got off with a warning.

I can understand the need for taxi drivers to earn a living but being @DetroitAirport waiting for a metro cab (uber not allowed), shows exactly why ridesharing won out. It is sooooo inefficient!!

Day 5 of my #21DayCKChallenge and am learning Go. Long day yesterday so I didn't get to do much but I got a couple hrs in today. Interesting language but not sure I see the appeal yet.

Day 1: Learning Go. Created my hello world app and covered packages, variables and functions. It definitely helped having previous knowledge of these concepts from other languages. #21DayCKChallenge

@resolvingdust I am learning Go for this go. I know most of the others already (C#, C++, Python, Swift, Javascript, Typescript etc etc etc). Go has eluded me though so rectifying that.
