They absolutely should! Members of Congress essentially have one job to do which is to keep the government running. And when it doesn’t, they shouldn’t be paid. Go Delta!
Delta announces all members of Congress will lose special status on the airline as TSA continues to work without pay. Love this. Continue to believe all members of Congress — and their staffs — should lose their pay for the entire year every time the government shuts down.
TSA absences have doubled and 300 officers have quit during the shutdown. Airport lines in #Arizona & elsewhere are growing during spring break.
End the shutdown. Pay TSA workers.

The UN says Israeli airstrikes in Yemen are “especially alarming.”
Israel has endured a year of ballistic missiles and drone attacks from Yemen and I don’t recall the UN being “especially alarmed” by them.
🕎 @GwynethPaltrow and I lit candles together for the first night of Hanukkah. Listen to hear about her Jewish heritage and traditions. #BringOnTheLight
2 Million Israelis rushing to shelters almost every night by Houthi ballistic missiles doesn’t make the cut of being newsworthy on @BBCWorld, but a UN official NOT being hurt by an Israeli strike in Yemen does. Go figure.
In 1959, 9 yo Ronald McNair was told he couldn't check out his books from Lake City's segregated library. He went on to become Karate champion, earned an MIT PhD in physics, and became a NASA astronaut.
Today that library is named after him.
Last year, 111 Harvard Professors published an antisemitic cartoon showing Jews hanging black men with nooses.
Harvard has not fired a single one of them.
We will expose these Professors during discovery.
Please share these names and ask Harvard why they’re still employed.
“In every generation they rise up against us to destroy us“- Passover Haggadah
They didn’t succeed then. They will not succeed now (or ever).
Happy Passover.

For a second, imagine that black students at Columbia were taunted with chants of "Go back to Africa."
Or imagine that a gay student at Yale was surrounded by homophobic protesters and hit in the eye with a flagpole.
Or imagine if a campus imam told Muslim students that they ought to head home for Ramadan because campus public safety could not guarantee their security.
There would be relentless fury from our media and condemnation from our politicians.
Just remember the righteous—and rightful—outrage over the white supremacist “Unite the Right” march in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, where neo-Nazis chanted “The Jews will not replace us.”
This weekend at Columbia and Yale, student demonstrators did all of the above—only it was directed at Jews. They told Columbia students to “go back to Poland.” A Jewish woman at Yale was assaulted with a Palestinian flag. And an Orthodox rabbi at Columbia told students to go home for their safety.
What will the response be?

@NirviShah@aliaemily@POTUS Why is there no other POV shared in your article besides that of the administration? It reads like a press release, not a piece based on balanced journalism.
One party runs all 3 branches of government in 75% of the country. They say it’s a 2-party system; it’s actually a 1-party system for most of us. Most Americans don’t have a meaningful choice in who is representing them. That’s what @Fwd_Party is designed to change.
@KTAR923 @GaydosAndChad @GaydosKTAR@TheBruceStJames Good for her and us Independents who make up one-third of Arizona’s voter base and out number Democrats. She’s a politician who actually gets stuff done for her constituents and will work with other parties to do so. Imagine that.
