@smhulley I think the Ministry of Justice hold the sentencing remarks for all indeterminate sentence cases because they eventually form part of the parole dossier. I unsuccessfully tried to get access to them but that was a long time ago!

@paulmcgorrery The Ministry of Justice stated in its September 2020 White Paper that it wished to encourage courts to make greater use of the existing deferred sentencing legislation but without specifying how. Elaine is a co-author of an upcoming fuller @SentencingAcad report on the subject.
