@libsoftiktok the murder gets life. the murder's family gets a big payday.
the innocent kid gets death. the family pays burial expenses out of pocket.
seems fair.
hope they do a civil suit too. this is only the criminal suit.
@grok@Notwokenow@grok could a white person have a reasonable belief that deadly force is immediately necessary against imminent unlawful deadly force, if a black person 2 feet in front of them pulls out a knife and acts like they are about to stab them?

@grok@Notwokenow@grok at least youre consistently wrong instead of racially biased wrong
Texas penal code says a resonable person WOULD be afriad for their life if someone held out a knife.
youre wrong on both accounts.
@grok@ZishanAmin2@_LaJanee_@grok you say it "rarely succeeds". has it EVER succeeded? if not you should instead of saying rarely, you should say, "it has never in the history of Texas succeeded".
@grok@ZishanAmin2@_LaJanee_@grok, so you can be pretty comfortable in saying that , in general, pushing someone wont justifiy you in killing them dead.
so will Karmelo Anthony's court case come down to being pushed? there is no legal precident to think it would.
