@ERobbPrincipal True! However, shouldnโt school also be teaching lifelong skills? Never having a due date doesnโt help teach responsibility. Late work affects giving timely feedback that is used to improve on the skill. It also makes a teacherโs job (that has 150+ students) way more difficult.
@HollyClarkEdu Not at all. We are one to one and use our Chromebooks every single day. If anything, I feel like we should mix it up more and bring back paper!
Here's to all the teachers who are flying under the radar, not getting much attention. Their engaging lessons aren't on Twitter. Their cool interactions w/ kids aren't on Youtube. But they're still crushing it. They're making a difference for a lot of students.

@MSNBC Actually- I feel that both parties have lost their way- it amazes me that with all of the good people in this world that only the rich, corrupt, unethical, extremists run both this country and the media. Democrats and Republicans alike disgust me.
I just saw Tyler Perryโs humanitarian award speech (it is PHENOMENAL). I encourage everyone to watch it. I would love to stand in the middle and refuse hate with you @Tylerperry
@IndiaHuiEd @heymrsbond I do have empathy, but Iโve also been around long enough to know how life works. If I had no empathy I would say nothing should be done. I believe, in the long run, it would have a positive impact on more people if we lowered the interest rate drastically or negate it altogether.
@jpklock @heymrsbond Iโm not opposed to changing the system to provide higher education to all. Iโm opposed to student loan forgiveness. If you take a loan out for any reason, it is your responsibility to pay it back. Iโm happy with these thoughtful, open discussions with no bullying or name calling!
