@loomsboldly@joedrape@InTheMoneyMedia Ah, okay, will ask more about this later. Got a medical appointment to go to now. At 77, if anyone says I look good, I tell them they haven't seen the x-rays.
@loomsboldly@joedrape@InTheMoneyMedia There was a sharp spike on my 2021 posting about Harvey Pack. I'm sure the race named after him caused it. Harvey told someone that the bit about encountering hookers with Pete Axthelm in the NBC piece going to the 2nd Breeders Cup via the Subway Special caused network cringing
@PCMckenna Brighten up. At least more people go to Saratoga than will ever show up at Belmont on "non-marquee" days. You're really packing them at the Spa it looks like.
@ShotTakingTime And why is anyone surprised. It's the price. NRYA continues to be a collection of bone heads that doesn't understand that the cheapest reserved set on opening day for $23 is NOT going to win fans and influence upstate horseplayers.
@WilliamGotimer When the cheapest reserved seat is $23 for opening day, and NYRA seems to have a misguided policy that admission and a seat are separate, then don't expect many backs in be inthe seats in the "seats with a back." Wait till the new Belmont and count how many people are NOT there.
@MaggieWolfndale Maggie, sorry for your loss. Need you on Talking Horse more often. You're doing great. Want to see you more often doing this. It is work, I know.
@PCMckenna Sure, it's hot, but how many backs bought reserved tickets for seats with backs with 35,000 over two days, holiday Saturday? You can see the empty seats on the telecasts.
