What time is it? ITS CHURCH TIME!!!
Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalms 23:6
4 Encouragements for Graduating Seniors:
1.Your identity is in Christ, not your accomplishments.
2.God’s calling for your life matters more than the world’s expectations.
3.Don’t drift from Christian community after graduation.
4.Whatever your walk of life is, follow Jesus.
5 Reasons to Go to Church:
1. Worship God with Others: your faith wasn’t meant to be solo.
2. Hear Truth: you need Scripture, not just opinions.
3. Find Real Community: people who know you and grow with you.
4. Grow Spiritually: not just informed, but transformed.
5. Be Sent Out: church equips you for what God calls you to, not to run from it.
Be the Church. Go to church.
I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Revelation 21:5
It's the beginning of a new year. I pray that 2026 will be the best year ever for all of my family and friends.
Let's find ourselves faithful to the Lord this year. The scripture declares that if we are faithful in a few things we shall be made ruler over many things. Here are five (few) things to focus on in this new year.
!. Church attendance
2. Prayer
3. Bible reading/study
4. Giving-Stewardship
5. Witnessing—Telling people about Jesus.
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:21

One by one James is hitting areas in life where we as Christians fall short. He has warned about bad language, jealousy, bitterness, and pride. Chapter 4 vs 11 warns us against judging others.
He says don’t speak evil against others. Don’t criticize and judge. James calls that sinful. But what does that mean?
This doesn’t mean that we can’t have an opinion about what’s right and wrong. Or that we never approach our brothers and sisters about things they do that are contrary to God’s word.
James is talking about gossip and backstabbing. About criticizing someone’s behavior to other people but not speaking to them. That is totally different than counseling someone or even confronting them face to face about sin.
If we have loved ones or friends who are engaged in wrong behavior it is our duty to help them. Not judge them. Not criticize them. Help them see what God’s word says and how they might be harming themselves by disobeying His word. But we are not to just throw out criticism to them or other people. We’re not to make judgmental remarks that are meant to be hurtful rather than helpful.
My rule of thumb is:
Talk to people, not about people. Do it to be helpful out of love. Tell them what the Bible says and not what I think.
@SenTedCruz Very disappointed in you and your vote against the WEP to right a serious wrong for your hometown, (local heroes) Firefighters, Police Officers , Teachers . It will be taken into account come next election.
@tedcruz That's good, however will you please leave the WEP Elimination bill alone and withdraw your amendment so us working people can get part of our Social Security restored!
Don't know who this guy is or where he's from, but a really thoughtful, timely and brilliant message to believers. I'm glad someone called my attention to it!
Paul’s topic at the beginning of Romans Chapter 13 is submitting to authority. This is a fundamental principle of the Christian life. We all are to submit to God. We agree with that. Children are to submit to parents. We agree with that. But when Paul says we must submit to governing authorities that’s harder to accept.
What if those governing us are corrupt? What if we just don’t like their policies? The Bible says as Christians we must still submit to that authority. Why? Paul says it’s because God has allowed those authorities to be put in place. Does that mean all government officials will rule in a godly manner? No. It just means that God has them in place and we need to respect them. It doesn’t mean we have to agree with their policies or even like them, but we do have to respect our officials and submit to them. How are we going to teach our children that they must have respect for authority if we don’t?
Respecting and submitting to authority obviously doesn’t apply to orders that go directly against God’s word. Peter answered that question in Acts 5:29 but as this election season comes upon us we need to remember this section of Romans 13. It doesn’t matter if Republicans or Democrats win, as Christians we are to respect the leadership. We may not like the people who win and we might not agree with what is being done but Romans 13:1 says we must submit to that authority. Thats the word of God and we have to accept all of His word, not just the parts we like.
Parents,
It's important to teach your kids how to interact with kids that have unique needs.
Here are 4 things to remember:
1. They're made in the image of God.
2. They have extreme value.
3. They're not scary or dangerous.
4. Their feelings matter too.
@espn On your Little League coverage, the announcer's mics need to be turned up along with the roving reports. You can hardly be heard on TV without having the volume way up high!
