There's a powerful new film coming to theaters this Friday, July 3rd โ it's called Young Washington.
Directed by Jon Erwin (the director behind Jesus Revolution and House Of David), this film takes us back before George Washington became a general, before he became our first president โ to the young man wrestling with failure, loss, and his own character on the frontier of colonial America.
What is the story before the story? Young Washington explores that.
This film is dynamic, engaging, and exciting โ and it's the perfect way to head into our nation's 250th birthday with a deeper appreciation for the man who would go on to lead it.
It's showing in a theater near you.
@wxbywilliams I can always count on 90+ degree days in July, right around my sonโs birthday 7/7/87.
Since then, I recall temps in or near 90 during that stretch of July.

Thank you America for all that you are and all that you will be. Thank you for trusting me.
I'll have more to say about it later. My college roommate and one of my best friends Joe Pitts was on my wing for this one.
God Bless America and long live The Republic.
Not only are the Texas Rangers the ONLY team in Major League Baseball that donโt have a Pride Night, they instead celebrate fatherhood by allowing the playerโs kids to join them on the field for the National Anthem during Fatherโs Day.
Every other MLB team should take notes โ๏ธ
JUST IN: A Pennsylvania Minor League Baseball Team has been issued a loss after all the players REFUSED to wear Pride Themed Jerseys! Let's make these guys famous for being TOTAL Patriots!
@13WHAM So why weren't they flying an MIA flag? A thin blue line flag? A Buffalo Bills flag? Why this one flag? There is one flag that is supposed to unite us all. Only one.
Our food system incentivizes companies to prioritize increasing profit margins over making healthy food, and baking and eating real bread is a (delicious) form of resistance. https://t.co/fwlLMrvPMD
