@jzitzka@pgliljedahl I’m so glad you asked this question because I purchased the book and am listening on Audible as well and have not been able to find the “companion website” either.
@DrJKenton In math, I love using Delta Math because it’s self checking and gives detailed feedback to students and generates new problems when they get one wrong. For 1:1 to work, kids need opportunities to get feedback and fix their mistakes #OneToOneLearning
@DrJKenton Q5 my best 1:1 competency toggles between instructional planning and delivery because when you have a solid plan in place, the delivery should be easy. This semester, I am trying to execute group work/collaboration better because that was 1:1 struggle for me #OneToOneLearning
@DrJKenton Q4 It has been a challenge for many of my students to find a work place within their home to focus during synchronous learning;I can imagine the challenges they face with asych before the pandemic. Also getting kids to manage time and turn assignments in ontime. #OneToOneLearning
@DrJKenton Q3 there is so much positive in a 1:1, first and foremost is that we’re preparing our students to use technology in an educational setting, which I believe is a necessity for their future productivity. #OneToOneLearning
@DrJKenton There is definitely a learning curve and I’m anxious to see how all of this lack of structure will impact our learners when they all finally return to the classroom!
@mrbarrett404 @DrJKenton I agree with this challenge! The Lea ring curve is huge for some and we don’t have the time to teach the kids all they need to know AND keep up with the content!
