We’re recruiting: Deputy Director – Nairobi
We are looking for a visionary leader to join the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) as our new Deputy Director and Director of the Nairobi Programme. This is a critical leadership position for an established scientist who is passionate about both high-level research strategy and the development of talent within the African scientific ecosystem. You will work alongside me to drive strategy for the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme. This is more than a management role; it is an opportunity to lead interdisciplinary research that informs global health policy and fosters the next generation of African scientific leaders.
If you (or someone in your network) are an established international researcher with strong leadership experience, a track record of securing competitive funding, and a passion for building excellent, equitable research institutions in Africa, I would strongly encourage you to apply or share.
