➝ Lateefah Simon used her nonprofit positions to funnel hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Anti Police-Terror Project (APTP) for defund the police advocacy, which is now starting to look like a get-rich-quick scheme.

➝ The Terror Project’s co-founder is Earl Harper, husband of Oakland government official Carroll Fife. APTP distributes $800,000 of this funneled money to other organizations also run by Harper, along with $55,000 to the personal LLC of the Terror Project's vice president (who is also one of Oakland's cannabis commissioners).

➝ Community Ready Corps, one of Harper’s organizations which received $400,000 from Anti Police Terror Project, was set to receive a $2.1 million state-funded private security grant... until it emerges they don’t even have the licenses to do this work.

➝ 3 weeks ago, Lateefah Simon officially endorsed Defund the Police politician Carroll Fife. IRS documents reveal $4.5 million has gone missing after Carroll Fife raised $9.2 million for her shady nonprofit organization.

Community members who once supported the Defund The Police Movement are now questioning where the money truly went, as it increasingly looks like a fraudulent get-rich-quick scheme that exploited police brutality cases against Black and Brown people to funnel millions into the pockets of nonprofit leaders.

Kamala Harris and Lateefah Simon have been close friends since her early 20s, often referring to each other as sisters. Kamala even officiated Lateefah’s wedding, further cementing their lifelong bond.

Today, Kamala continues to support Lateefah, fully endorsing her current run for Congress.

@OutrchCatholic You have failed to hold true to the teachings of the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church. You have failed to pass on the faith of St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Augustine, St. Theresa. Teach the Deposit of Faith and your churches will be full once again.
