🤯 IN 1981, ANDRE GREGORY PREDICTED EXACTLY WHERE WE’RE GOING
In the cult film “My Dinner with Andre”, he delivers this chilling monologue to Wallace Shawn:
“We’re living in some kind of Orwellian nightmare created by a world totalitarian government based on money. Everything you hear now turns you into a robot.
New Yorkers exist in a state of schizophrenia — they’re both guards and prisoners. They’ve been lobotomized and can no longer even see the prison they’ve made.
The 1960s were the last burst of the human being before he was extinguished. From now on there’ll simply be robots walking around, feeling nothing, thinking nothing… and soon nobody will remember that there once was a species called a human being.”
45 years later… we’re living it.
Was this just fiction… or a prophecy?
Agreed.... Ridiculous the amount of money that disappears every year and what good could be done with even a fraction of it for the tax paying citizens of this country.
"Let's not underestimate the skill of our intelligence organizations.
Let's assume that they have been competent enough to collect and assimilate the same kinds of data dealt with in this book. I think we can safely assume that they figured all of this out many years ago and that they are coping with it in their own way as quietly as possible. The huge National Security Agency building outside of Washington, DC, is filled with James Bond-type electronic gear, and the organization's annual budget exceeds the gigantic budget of our space program. I don't think all that money is going into bureaucratic ratholes. I don't think all those computers and supersophisticated gadgets are sitting there collecting dust. The NSA has orbited ELINT (electronic intelligence) satellites equipped with delicate sensoring devices which can instantly detect electromagnetic disturbances on the earth's surface. Other satellites carry infrared detection devices, and still others are designed to eavesdrop on all forms of communication. In 1960, Project Saint was announced; this was a plan to orbit special satellites designed to pursue and investigate unidentified satellites. No further information was ever released on this interesting project."
OPERATION TROJAN HORSE by John Keel (1970)
Just a few hours ago, I brought Tango home from the shelter. He still doesn’t know who I am. To him, I’m just another human — a new scent, a different voice, and an unfamiliar road. 🐾
And yet right now, he’s curled up on my couch beside a soft blanket, resting so peacefully as if he’s finally found real relief. He’s not watching the door anymore. He’s not pricking his ears at every tiny sound. He’s just breathing softly… and sleeping in calm. 💤
I was a little tense during the car ride. He sat quietly in the back seat, small and watchful, looking out the window — as if trying to understand whether this trip was just another temporary stop or the end of his long wait. When we stepped inside, he hesitated. He paused at the threshold, scruffy little nose twitching, carefully sniffing the air as if making sure this place was truly his.
He didn’t rush to the food bowl. The treat I offered didn’t matter much either. First, he explored the entire living room with classic tuxedeo cat curiosity, sniffing every corner like a tiny adventurer. Then he hopped onto the couch beside the blanket, circled once or twice… and lay down. He rested his whiskered chin on his paws and let out a long, quiet sigh — as if this space already belonged to him. 🛋️
And that’s when my eyes filled with tears. 🥺 Not because of his past, and not even because of the tired look in his eyes — but because of that quiet moment of trust. When a brave, sensitive tuxedo cat finally lets down his guard and falls asleep beside you.
Today, Tango didn’t just find a home. He found peace. And I feel like I received the greatest gift in the world — I became someone’s safe place. ❤️
