Definitely a weird few days. Suffered a Transient global amnesia. How whack is that? Forgot about 6 hours permanently and lost 18 months temporarily. I hadn't heard of Covid!! It was a long night in A and E.

1/4 A baffling type 2 diabetes mystery

Can anyone help?

A brief thread..

This patient of mine is 55 and has mysteriously reversed her type 2 diabetes with a huge drop of HbA1c from 77➡️32mmol/mol (9.2-5.1%) in only 3 months

She is not on any new medications for her diabetes..

@AndyWoodturner Peppermint oil. Soak cotton wool or kitchen roll. Stuff in places where you find them. Worked for us. Cost £1 for the oil. Worth a try

@TheFreds I'm worried that we are damaging our immune system by not mixing. When my Aunt emigrated to Canada she had an awful year of illness. Her doc said it was because her immune system was used to different bugs. Although I hate catching colds, maybe it's a necessary thing 🤔

@AndyWoodturner I went to the dentist with toothache. Discovered I've been gritting my teeth too much, created 5 (!) oversensitive teeth. Got to avoid stressful situations and sleep with a mouth guard the dentist can make (but not at the Covid moment) for £90. I think I'll try alcohol first 😋
