@rodentologist Interesting how this author observes rats โWe shall tumble down the slope. Let us hop, skip, and jump.โ in the absence of humans ๐๐ https://t.co/te0mTZprpe
@rodentologist An unfortunate public health crisis opens a rare opportunity to eliminate legacy rodent populations with so many no-food situations in structures and neighborhoods using intelligent rodent proofing and comprehensive trapping and/or other control measures.
How appropriate (insightful?) that artist C. Dunn portrays young mouse's interest=trains! I.e.,FAST way to disperse. Mouse traveled globe first hidden in sacks of wheat/spice mule caravans; then old ships, next via trains, planes, trailer-trucks. Boom! Epic global distribution!
A humorous highlight of the @corteva#activesense summit for me is when #rockneywalters named @collinspest Doctor Death! Not for his control skills, but rather his love of procurement folks!
Down Under too... The amazingly world-adapted Rattus reminds humanity everywhere the importance of keeping our own nests clean and tidy. Thanks to Radio National Australia @patskarvelas, for helping to spread the message:: Sanitation IS pest control! https://t.co/10PCPCSqGu
It's not true that all mice are "curious". Some are; some aren't. Tried to trap a mouse in my kitchen drawer the night before. But the mouse scratched a message into the paper towel at the very edge of the trap: "Not interested!"
