@Sarah4Texas Why not go light on him and have your minions blame the parents of the child? Apparently that works for getting elected as a party nominee. (Sarcasm alert). (This post is a sad commentary on events, and I do not agree with actually doing this. It is sarcasm).
@KellyRasti Wow, taking away the “most engaged families and students” from public schools didn’t raise the education scores for those remaining in public schools. Who could have predicted that?🤷♂️
@MaryDunlaphome Forecast: 100% chance of flooding public schools with tests. Yes, the Legislature is getting rid of the STAAR test, but here’s the new tests in our district (think instructional days lost):
2025-26: required tests = 32,386.
2027-28: HB8 required tests = 88,993 (274% increase)
@FixingEducation The students put their fake/burner phone in the pouch and keep the real phone. Waste of money. Just tell them that they can’t have their phone visible at any time. Save the money and hassle of this wasteful and ineffective idea.
@FamilyProjectTX What does the state pay when it takes over? Over $500k to HISD super. State appointed superintendent in FWISD, which the state took over, Base pay: ~$360,000/year equivalent
Confirmed perk: $25,000 relocation payment.
