1. confidence- you’re the expert. The customer wants you to be!
2. Empathy- genuinely want to help
3. Professional gumption- knowing when to push back/guide a customer in the right direction
#startup lessons learned: in B2B sales, I’ve learned to always own the next step. Typically means before wrapping up the meeting, getting the next follow up meeting on the calendar based on where the prospect is in the sales process.
