Charity is among the greatest ways to shield yourself from the Fire, from hardships, and from punishment.

And what charity could be greater than building a masjid - a place that gathers worshippers for daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, Qur’an classes, madrasa, and countless acts of worship?

What better investment can there be for your hereafter that is on-going?

NEW: The Obligation of Safeguarding the Tongue, the Limbs and Deeds in Ramadān, and Outside of it.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Perhaps a fasting person receives nothing from his fast except hunger and thirst; and perhaps a person who stands in the night prayer receives nothing from his standing except sleeplessness.”

Shaikh ʿAbdur-Rahmān Ibn Muhammad Ibn Qāsim (d. 1392H) said in some lines: “If there is no restraint in my hearing, no lowering in my gaze, and no silence upon my tongue—then my portion of the fast is nothing but hunger and thirst. So if I were to say, ‘Indeed, I have fasted this day', then in reality, I have not fasted.”

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT TO KHAIR 📢

My beloved brothers and sisters,

Whatever you give in charity will return to you multiplied.

Whatever you give in charity will protect you from hardships and calamities.

Whatever you give in charity will stand as a shield for you from the Hellfire.

Charity increases goodness, brings more rizq, and fills one’s life with barakah. As Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned, even those who are not Muslim have witnessed the remarkable effects and blessings that come from giving in charity.

Alhamdulillah, we have a £5,000 in today’s Double Up campaign!

If we can raise another £5,000 until FAJR, the donor will match it - doubling your reward and impact

This is an incredible opportunity to multiply your sadaqah and maximise your reward. Let us come together once again and complete the remaining amount.

May Allah accept from us all and place barakah in our wealth. Ameen.

In North America, non-Muslims have designated February as Black History Month to 'celebrate black people worldwide'. This is a countermovement to centuries of marginalisation of people based on skin colour. Ironically in doing so, it also continues the binary of black and white as divided groups of people.

What is the Islamic stance on racism? Does Islām categorise people based on skin colour or ethnicity? Is preference or recognition based on these concepts in Islām?
