@carlrogersnl@halvebelg@thijszonneveld Inderdaad.
@halvebelg@thijszonneveld Helemaal mee eens.
@misraetel When the value of cognitive labours goes down we’ll see big shifts from cognitive to physical labour, demand will go up at first but supply will follow as people begin to realise
@davidpattersonx Isnt a restaurant a bad example for this? The social experience is a big part of a restaurant, I think not only other people eating there but also the people serving you play a big role. Maybe people will prefer the restaurant with human interaction.
@davidpattersonx Do you really believe that?
The gap between X and regular people is immense. I think people in the X/AI bubble overestimate this and people outside underestimate it. Truth will be in the middle
@LeCyclismebelge Question is: in what scenario does he win? I can see him win in a small group sprint but that is exactly what Seixas, remco and Del toro will try to avoid. When they go all out uphill it will be hard to not drop. (1/2)
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.
